Thank you Daphne and Jan for your trophies and the winner was Trish McAlary on 68, with Kaye Martin 71 second and Jan Barclay third on 74.

Sue Burke was nearest the pin on the 13th, Jan Barclay took out the 16th and Janet Ruskin-Rowe had the best shot on the 18th.

The field was also small on Saturday July 12 with 10 players heading to Lightning Ridge.

At home Dallas Wilson won first prize on 71, while Pam Laws 73 beat Shirley Ferrier in a countback.

Last Wednesday was an American Foursomes with a draw for partners and 18 players taking part. The winning team was Trish McAlary and Joan Robey 66 1/2 on a countback from Sue Burke and Joyce Jones, with Anne Montgomery and Pam Laws third on 67 1/2. Anne Montgomery was nearest the pin.

Saturday was the Ruby Fowler/ Alison Payne sponsored trophy day and July medal, thank you for your trophy.

Seventeen players went around and congratulations to Shirley Walker 62 who won on a countback from Ruby Fowler. Marg Dowton 65 was in third place and scratch winner was Ruby Fowler. Nearest the pins were Robyn Downey on the fourth, Marg Dowton on the 13th, Sumi Boyd on the 16th and Alison Payne on the 18th. Other ball winners were Val Soulsby, Dallas Wilson and Pauline Pallier.

Today is a 4BBB Irish stableford mixed invitation over 18 holes with learners welcome and a shotgun start at 10am. Saturday is the Val Soulsby/ Fiona Soulsby trophy day over 18 holes and Patroness Day is on August 30.

Next Wednesday is the Dallas Wilson trophy day, an 18-hole stroke event.
